Hi, all. Once again it's been awhile. I've been busy with work and a few commissions. This was this years Christmas card for friends and family.
I was wondering if anyone had some pointers on using watercolors I always seem to get flatten the crap out of 'em.

The composition is good. The bright yellow seems a bit off to me. I cant imagine it being that bright of a yellow. _________________

It does kinda look like the notorious "yellow snow." In the physical original the yellow wasn't nearly that noticeable. Maybe its just my crapy scanner. Thanks for pointing it out though, I'll have to double check the original.
