hi there, i'm new to everything so if any one has and tips for me i'd love to hear them. anywho, i did this today:

Looks like you have great ideas and talent if you actually are new to everything.
Depending on where you want to get you might want to learn the basics every artist should know.
For example you could add more depth.
Define forms through values. Make the eyeball look round for example.
The colors are fine but the pink a little too saturated.
I'd try to show a relation to the red background color.
You can do that and still make it look pink I guess.
Also I wouldn't use lines like that for texture.

There's a part about varying the thickness of lines.
Also compare the eyebrows there with yours.

I made a quick overpaint to show what I mean.
I hope I won't look at it later and find out that this is completely ridiculous ...
the shadow of the nose might be bigger!?
I guess I shouldn't fake lighting like that ...
