I am fully aware that my art stinks beyond any belief... anyway I'd like some help.

Leads to my lineart, and if you click on the link below the picture "Click here..." you should see the peice in the process of coloring. I am coloring by mouse in photoshop, and am having trouble with the ink lines from my scan. For some reason my scanner seems to scan black images and turn them grayscale, must be the settings (I'll investigate) but for now, all I've been doing is coloring over the original lines and using the smudge tool... got any tips as to how this can be done easier or something else I can do to darken the lines?

Well, except for the fact that he has no pupils *shudder* he looks fine. I think you need to work on the background though in order to make it more apparent what is actually going on in the picture. Your coloring is also not the greatest, but then again mine isn't either. Very Happy

hi there,

did you try adjusting the levels? (as in image>>adjust>>levels) drag sliders.

I actually finished the picture, and I'm aware that my coloring stinks quite a bit in comparison to quite a few of you here, I'm working on it Razz

I haven't tried adjusting the levels, I will though, thanks!
