hey guys,

some stuff i've been working on recently. Am going to try to render them both a bit more cleaner.

Been trying to work on starting simple and then building up, but am finding myself getting caught up in noodling and getting lost in that.




for the monkey, i'm going to clean up the hands a bit and try to bring out the monkey by adding some more lighting from the top.

Seeing light and trying to create it with simple strokes is a constant battle. Hopefully i can finish these off and move on soon.

Any comments and crits are appretiated. So many things to think of sometimes, what to draw, technically how to do it. Definately working on trying to have the image say something or have more too it than just technique.

yeah, the monkeys cool. a crit on the background though. you have really nice textures/colors at the top of the pic, but by the time you get down to the bottom it gets a little too "muddy"
