Have no idea which movie this is, but the painting looks good. I like how you painted his muscles, anatomy seems to work overall. I think you could describe the forms of his left arm better, they do not read clearly. Triceps here seem slightly off as well as his right deltoid. Right bicep looks small because of this, but is probably quite accurate.

Cool man! I'm in the same struggle. I've just recently picked up Painter. Next semester I'm going to try some traditional painting. Only crit I have is that he looks as though he's made of metal. Less contrast maybe? Maybe some small areas of texture? Maybe another choice of color for the background the red almost makes him feel more evil and almost like he just finished slaying some one or some kind of horror scene. He's a "good guy" right? Otherwise I like it! |
