I've gotten a lot of similar comments on this very same feature of this drawing. What can I say, it was intended though not thoroughly successful.

AndyT--Thanks for vsiting the website. I hope I can overhaul that site and come up with new galleries.
Capt. Fred. Thanks. It was a spur of the moment thing and I do believe I've seen it done before. This was a first attempt. I'm thinking of scanning actual fabric and doing a cut and paste. Let's see how much trouble I get myself into.

Not successful?! maybe you heard from the wrong people. the pattern seems a little reminiscent of klimt, hugely successful I would say. by the way the drawing is amazing.
