Okay. My name was "Mari" here, but since no one actually knows me apart from some whining and newbie talk they might've read, I decided a name change could be in order.
Right now it's "Oracle" but that's not too interesting either, is it?
Can someone help? I can't decide on a cool name and there's so many people here with cool names.
I want one too ^_^;;
Names I've used in the past on other forums or things:
- Kohana (it's just a name of a character of mine... a ninja one)
- Shinnoyami (only temporarily on MSN Messenger, means total darkness)
- Nemutai kunoichi (sleepy female ninja)
- Mari (my full name is Marianne, my friends started calling me Mari years back so it's my adopted second name now. Mari actually means "ball" in Japanese)
- DragonFly (I dunno why. This was a short period when I was playing Halo with friends and needed a cool codename. I guess it's not THAT cool, but I liked the word at that time)
-Mari the Oracle (I like to believe I can predict stuff - slightly precognitive. That's why it's Oracle)
Yeah. As if any of you would care =P Anyway, cool ideas would be helpful. |

Try Marinade - it's cool and refreshing ( or it could infuse you with exotic flavours? ).

I wouldn't bother with a name change, since it's a lot easier to remember than some obscure Japanese name.
Also, don't get any tattoos in the near future. _________________ QED, sort of. |

I don't care, aslong as it's different than my ex-g/f's name, which is Mari. |

Those long Asian names are all the same to sheltered white boys like myself. |

Well, this is really something you should come up with yourself. In the past I have let others come up with my username and thought it was cool but a part of being an artist is being original and having an original name will be more meaningful in the long run. What I would do if I were you is come up with a name based off of something you feel strongly about or have great interest in. For example: I personally have an interest in astronomy, in that case I would use something like DarkMatter, EventHorizon, or WhiteDwarf if you wanted to mix astronomy with fantasy.
My name on the other hand is something Iv used for about 6 years and people know me by it. I dont care for it much because I didnt come up with the idea to use it but it sounded cool at the time. Find something you like now before it sticks. _________________ Kevin Moore

Actually, DrunkenMonkey, I don't crave attention. I'd rather not stick out but I've done so way too much on here.
I decided that after this I will stop. Why am I even reacting to a flame like that?
As for the other comments: Thank you!
I might just keep this name cause it's short and easy to remember, but I'm really sorry it hurts you Giant Hamster.
I hope I can make up for it by being nicer than your ex?
Too bad I got a bad name with this all now. I'm such a whiner. *goes into hiding* |

There is nothing wrong with craving attention. I crave it all the time. As long as you dont shout at the top of your lungs "I NEED ATTENTION" in a crowded room when nobody is talking to you, then I think your ok.
Course I cant vouch for that. _________________

Cool, Al Ian.
I should try that some day... but only in a room with people I know.
just to see their faces |
