I've been attending some oil painting classes and this is my first work:
Here's a detail:
The colors are better in reality but this is the best I could get with a camera. Any ideas on how to digitalize a painting?
I think the best part of the painting are the fruits. I made them first but I should have done all the painting at the same time, going step by step instead of focusing only on one part.
Also the drawing could have been better and it shows.
I'd apreciate any comments and crits since this is my first painting and so I want to improve.
Also, if you want to post overpaints do it. _________________ "Ever forward, my darling wind." -Master Yuppa

Hey
I like this one and you have a similar style to my kind of oil painting. I have been experimenting with oil=s also lately and I like oil the best of the different mediums that is out there, only one thing and that is that you have to prepare the paintings a lot and plan ahead but that is kind of cool also at the same time.
Nice work with this one. Post some more if you have some. :)
see you

Thanks Matthew. This is my first painting, as I already said, but as soon as I finish another one I'll post it.
If you want to post some of your oils do so. _________________ "Ever forward, my darling wind." -Master Yuppa
