..just something i was messing around with.
this was done using Deep Paint entirely.. a combination
of dry brush and oils..
it was done to further explore the software.. as well as to just
'have fun!' and try doing a 'characature' of a celebrity..
(and i'm a big fan of the band!)

Looks really tight and you have indeed capture the feeling of Dave Grohl. It looks like those old cowboy posters with those colors, very nice.
Deep-paint, is that a freeware? is it for linux?

Dave Grohl is sooooo coming to speak to my creative writing class about writing song lyrics and stuff. Ill take my digi-cam for proof! Apparently my teacher has known him since he was 2 or somethin.

Deep paint is not freeware.. it's available from: www.righthemisphere.com
it does run on Linux, though..
treeboy-- that's cool that you're going to meet Dave.. show him my picture!
