Based on the influence of speed painting, yet not too fast, What IF thread more like. Would anyone be interested in stretching a bit of concept power to post here emulations of artists as concept artists?
Example; What If Salvador Dali were a SF concept artist? What would his work look like?
Even: What if Patrick Nagel were a Fantasy CG Game artist, how could you use his style in that field?
Get it? Thought it might be fun for some really whacked out combos, like VanGogh as a Matte Painter.
sound like fun?

lol, now thats an idea. Make a list of "known" traditional artists and have hyperlinks to artist sites, then you could pic and choose!
