hey everyone,
i just finished the promotional ad for our comic/brochure we're making for our college course multimedia production... its called HARDDRIVE... ill post details on the whole comic when we're near completion. btw... the big dude is named Harddrive, im the guy in the hat, and wiz is the other guy. hehe. "dose of reality" is the name of our comic series.
it is going on a waterbottle to give out to representitives from EMI, mediatropolis, and other media businesses and corporations that are coming to meet with the confederation college council some time in late december.
i did everything on this strip because my buddy was supposed to do the ink and text bubbles.... but his computer screwed up, and he's still gettin used to adobe illustrator.
hope u enjoy,
let me know wat you think!
c & c is always appreciated ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) _________________ "Man! I just noticed that I write a lot of fragment sandwiches!" |

in contrast to the webcomic shorts you posted in the comic thread, i think the coloring overall is quite imporoved in this piece. also, your design of the two main characters is tops, and the background came out great as well.
harddrive's facial expression in panel two could use some enhancement, along the lines of thurr's comment. also, i think his tie could definitely use some work, i just think it looks too much like a ribbon, which doesn't go well with that macho-300gb-7200-rpm image. all in all, good work though, and i'm looking forward to seeing the coming strips. |
