Hello, this is one i have been working on, i have never really
gotten feedback from it so I figured before i stuck a fork in it
(or sword for that matter) I would see what others thought
please if you see something suddle that needs to be addressed,
let me know, if you see something Huge, even better! I like to know
where I can improve, who doesn't!?
(sorry about the size, you can't really view it as a whole too well.)

I love the concept and the little details all over the place. Great contrast and pose of the larger Knight.
What sticks out at me most.
Grass. Im not sure what about the grass bothers me but it does. Alot, I cant get past it. Each blade just seems, I dunno, flat!? Like the rest of the image has huge depth and contrast and the grass is just different colors.
Finish it. Some areas like the sword and gauntlets have very sexy detail that I love. Then the stomach area is just a few brush strokes that are very visable.
When your done with this image it is SO going into my saved folder of art I want to keep a copy of! _________________

lol thanks for the reply Al Ian. that was actually a really fast
reply, I just posted about 1/2 hour ago at the most. but now that you
mention it, i see what you mean with the grass and the brush strokes. I will
work on those and post and update, but that will wait for a bit until i can get
some more responses or supporting arguments to your suggestions
you rock! _________________

I think the grass is ok. Granted, you could perhaps lighten up (or just add value to) the blades closest the the front, but it's not all that bad.
The thing that stands out most to me is something that I highly doubt you'll change just cuz it would change the whole picture. The big night looks as if he is checking his watch! lol, ok that is all. Good job, nice lighting on the little knight. |

thanks mega muffin, andi agree about the watch thing.. it has bothered me a bit too. i think i may just put his hand underneath the other on the main handle of the sword. i will work on it and see if it comes out a bit better, it may even give him a little better posture. _________________
