you should look at some tutorials.

The eye is too big, wrong size of mouth etc.

Well, all I can say is it's nice that you're trying to work without reference, but don't cut it out completely, that's how you learn the ratios. If you get to know the ratios well enough, then you can know where they should be just by looking.

Let's just start off with this: You're going good with the eye placement, it's roughly in the middle of the head where it should be. However, it's too big, and too far over to the side of the head. The ratio when it comes to eyes is usually to draw the line horizontally for the placement of the eyes, and a line for the center of the face. The eyes are drawn halfway between the edge of the face and the center line. Remember, that's just rough. The eyes themselves are about 1 eyewidth apart. However, it doesn't need to be dead on.

Anyway, witht eh rest of the picture, the nose should be bigger, as it should be about as big as the gap between the eyes. The length isn't bad, a quater of the total face. the mouth is both too small, and too high. The mouth should be bigger than the nose, but smaller then the center of the eyes. Your jawline is great, and the corner of the jaw is where he mouth should be. the jaw curves in at the mouth, to the chin. The chin is about the right size. The side of the face, however shouldn't be that steep. maybe just a couple of degrees in the upright. The ear is between the middle of the eye and the bottom of the nose, you're close on that. Your neck should be closer to the point of the jaw, and should really extend straight down before it hits the shoulder. And last of all, the hairline I usually draw a quarter of the way down the face, when taken in quarters. So most of your face is in the lower half of the face, and then the upper half is forehead, with a bit of eyebrow, and hair.

Keep at it, it's looking good. Love the effect that you're getting witht he marker too. Since I can see all the strokes you make with the pencil, maybe try something that make permanent lines, or try more line drawing with your pencil. IT may be more rewarding for you to see all the line work, and also make the picture a little more lively.
