Hey, finally got internet back after a brief hiatus. Well anyway, I came up with a concept for an advanced autogyro (look it up if you don't know what those are). I penned it in photoshop and then colored it. I'm not quite done, but for the most part the shading is layed down. I have to do the cockpit highlights, the turbine needs more work but I am not sure how (ideas ) and I don't like that thing in the middle, to the right of the propeller. Give me crits on the coloring job if ya please

122 posts and why isn't anyone responding I KNOW its not horrible, even though it isn't great, but I still would like people's opinions on it. Thats why I posted it in this forum anyway. _________________ It has been clinically proven that other people's pain IS funny. |

Oh, it's back up now.
It looks pretty nice, very clean and sharp. I think the shading needs some work, as it doesn't really suggest any form. I think the blotchy, Cloud-filter-ish textures really detract from the piece, making it look unnecessarily messy. If those were meant as a texture, maybe make them a different color, or make them a lot sharper and rougher. As for the rest of the shading, don't be afraid of contrast. This thing is supposed to be shiny and smooth, I assume? It looks a little like rubber now with all the smooth gradients and blotches. Contrast! |

actually, the cloudy thing is the camo paint scheme, like on the JSF or F-22 fighter, but I can take it off if I choose, and I do agree about the contrast. Thanx tinusch _________________ It has been clinically proven that other people's pain IS funny. |
