Ok ok buddy, the good news is that I recognized who it was before i read or saw anything, so that's good. Now about the eyes... or rather the rest of the face. First off, I noticed the chin... its a little more boxed in yours (which probably led to the wider neck); try to immitate the angles exactly. Also the proportionality of the forehead to the rest of the face. Yours is a little large. Those combined are enough to throw you off and make you believe that the eyes are wrong. On the contrary, the eyes are fine, in fact the best feature of the picture in my opinion. If your really into this portrait, I suggest correcting the dimensions.
Don't let all that criticism bog you down though, its really nit picky things; you don't even have to listen to me. Anyway, I thought it was a good portrait anyway Feel free to criticize my stuff anyday!
(woops, one more thing, on the shadow on the cheek, try smudging it together with paintshop to take away the wrinkly look.) _________________ Live for a dream. Live in a dream. |
