Well, how long have u spent on the pic so far? If u have only been at it an hour or two, just give it more time and persevere. It'll come along. But if you've been working on it for quite a while, I rekon u should ditch it. Does it feel like one of those 'dead end' pics that go no where because you're just so bloody sick of it?
Maybe u should try more exciting subject matter or have a plan or goal to achieve before u start your next piece. That way you'll feel more motivated.
And colouring something you drew yourself always helps because when it's done you know it's *all* yours. I'm not saying that it's bad to colour other peoples drawings, (provided you've got permission of course) It just adds to the satisfaction at the end.
Well, if you wan advice about the pic, just work on the shading and skin smoothness more and keep it going. Just keep refining until you get to the end (hopefully you don't get bored out of your mind before you get there)
Hope it helps.
