This painting equates to every childhood nightmare. That sight would make me kack my kegs.
Nice touch putting a night-light in there. I can imagine the parents reassuring thair kid with something like this. Not to mention, you've painted it really well.
There are some little higgle-de-piggles with lack of detail here and there, such as the curtains. You should consider painting the bed sheets as if the occupant is drawing them in with fear. It would also take away the simplicity of the bed.

Like it, but I do have some comments.
The big change: the perspective could be lowered a bit. So it looks like it is the POV of the person sleeping.
I thinks the night light is too bright, so is the light from the window. The whole picture could be darker.
