hmm, first digipainting in about year or so, I tried it then gave up for illustration and comi coloring but felt like giving it another try.
anyways, no refs used, the pose isn't too exciting but it'll work with the BG once I put it in. uhhh, haven't done all that much on it yet, I just checked out the tutorial on the main site, did a sketch, flatted it then started shading a bit, but I'm still new at this to tips and tutorials are very welcome. thanks in advance for any help I receive.

the helmet isn't quite right, but perhaps armour accuracy is not what your after. |

Yea, the helmet does seem weird in the front area. The right side of the nose peice seems to turn inward to much. This could be due to the shadowing. Maybe try creating that high light in the center of the nose peice.
The armour seems rather boring right now, but maybe the referance you have is like that. I haven't researched to much on armoury.
Interesting look and stance, I'm curious on the background ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

whoa, comments =P
thank you very much, I worked on it for a bit more, but never posted the updates, so here ya go , I did mess with the helmet's shape a bit, but didn't notice the nose-piece thing so I'll definitely go back and re-arrange it. I also worked on the armor a lot.
on the stuff there, I think the hand could still use a bit of work, looks flat right now, and the connection between hand and arm pad looks too soft. the shield is also not done.
crits are still welcome =) _________________ P-Air Art |
