i was readin up a bit on some stuff and i found in a few places that some artists (pro'ly most) like to use around 3000 or more pixels in thier finished ps pieces. Well, this took me back a bit, cuz up until now ive only been usin an average of 300 pixels, and any more (400 +) begins to slow my comp down! So, im thinkin i need a new comp to handle at least a thousand pixels, just so that when im workin i wont have to deal with all those squares....so annoyin. Now that i look at my stuff, i can see that using such a low amount of pixels only alows for a certain amount detail - i mean, i can get detail in, but with 3 thousand i could get so much more! So, if u guys know what kind of computer and what kind of stuff it needs (RAM, gigs, all of that stuff) id be really thankful.
EDIT/ woops i just saw spooge's thread about his comp...it kinda answers most of my questions...well still, if neone has anything to say regarding comps, then i can still use ur input. _________________ -Chase |
