Hey there.
I like the composition but, you'd do best to stay away from the Lens Flare filter. Learn to create that dynamic lighting using contrast of lights and darks in your color.
If you are going after a photorealistic look to your images, you'll want to stay away from using black in your shadowing. Look up some websites or posts here on color theory, very cool stuff to get a basic idea of how color looks in real life.
