I see a fair bit of sketchiness with the line work. Instead of a bunch of sketchy small lines to makes a large line, how about one big, fat, confident stroke? Also, I can see the pencil lines where you shaded. If you're going to leave the lines there, they should be interesting. I do see the form in the head and neck area, though, which is tough. Keep it up. |

Not a bad picture. You've got a nice solid start. I would recommend posting a smaller version for web viewing though so people can see the whole thing in one shot on their screens. Nothing larger than 700 pixels wide or tall is usually a good rule of thumb and i ususally stick to around 500-600 just to be sure.
As for more specific critique, since this looks like a work in progress, i won't nit-pick any details, but i do suggest working on that left hand (our right) a little more. It's not as beilevable as the other hand. You may also want to check the alignment of the facial features. The ear looks a little high and the neck a little thin under the chin. Double check your lighting too. Right now it's hard to tell exactly how your figure is being lit with those hard white highlights on the leg and no where else.
That's about all i can see at the moment, but since i have to scroll across the image so much, there may be more that just isn't apparent without being able to see the whole thing.
It's definitely a strong start though. _________________
