Here is a digital painting (Photoshop/Painter Classic) I made for my girlfriend's daughter. It's of her kitten sleeping (for a change!)
Hi-Res Version Here:

Some Details:
I struggled with the 'furry' nature of this subject matter, but I am quite happy with the final result, as it was great practise for me.
Thanks

Hello again "LePensky"!
I guess she is happy with it...! I have a few questions. It seems to me as if the background is som sort of picture of a canwas or some knitted or woven material and that the way of colouring is either low opacity or low flow. It would be interesting to know how you made it! You have really succeded in making the fur look natural, and its typical for a sleeping kitten to keep his eyes that way! Did you make this one free hand or did you use a photo as reference?
I have been busy for a while outside sijun, so perhaps I have missed some of your posts - perhaps I will find some moore and comment later. ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ Art has no key - it can always be improved.
