howdy, I thought i'd post this image in its own thread (even tho it's
already featured in the speedpainting thread) since I haven't started
a thread for the purpose of getting input for a while.
It's not exactly 'finished work' but I'm not going to take it any further;
whatever you tell me about this one I can use for future pictures
rahter than dwelling on ths one.
So basically jus tell me how you respond to it Thanks.
(i know that i could have used references for anatomy and for the temple thing, but that's
not so important to me, those are among the easiest things to identify and improve upon)

hi! I like the way you sketched mountains and the use of complementary colors (orange and blue)!
maybe something strange about his neck but I don't know maybe you wanted it to be like this !!
and last critic: I'm surprised he is a greek? I was thinking he was a samourai!!!
very nice work! |

I like this. There's a lot of boldness and confidence in the way you made this. Keep it up. |

Tinusch: thanks mate. I'm actually not particularly bold or confident usually, but this time I sort of was uncaring about the prospect of producing something crap which helped!
Grenadine: Yeah, that neck, or rather the lack of neck. I hadn't noticed that; good point. And greek-wise.. yeah, I just drew this guy really, and I thought maybe i had drawn a Greek temple there in the background? tho I have no idea if its greek, but I thought, well, 'greek' .. [shrugs: got no idea]
Matt: thanks : )
The more I look, the more I think maybe the sky is a bit bad. I don't think I achieved the effect I was trying for.. hmm. |

i do believe that that is a Classical Greek Temple to the god of McDonalds, what's up with the golden archers on the temple?
i like the colors a lot and the simplicity of the shading, its a good piece, i'm just scared of potential mcdonalds time travel |

hehe, no, i had not 'point' there with the McDonalds, just drew any old symbol there so it wasn't blank, i must have been compelled by the red and yellow ; )
Thanks |
