aw man! that is great work, it looks so.. painted. im soo bored of looking at people trying to make things look like 3d models, i mean, get 3ds max if you wanna do that....
Anyway, love your painting. i just noticed one thing, the flower ticks me off compared to the faries and the trees it looks so clumsy, kinda fat. i dunno...
again, love it. _________________ DeadbeaT was here |

Man..that is so awesome...at first I was just floored by the background..so much detail presented and such great depth to it...then I started to really explore the picture and first noticed the creature off to the left of the faeries...then I roamed around some more and noticed the tree was filled with malevolent eyes...then the coup d'etat(sp) of the piece, I noticed the face on the tree...amazing work. Two thumbs up. |

....a beautiful picture. As far as I am concerned the tree is perfect! Sometimes Photorealisme is nice but art is to get one step foreword and according to the tree I really like the way you decide where to put focus and it really works.
The light is so romantic and suits so well to your aim but I dont think you have succeded with the two female butterflyes...so it would be interesting to see this one reworked

Thanks for the comment everybody.
I'll try to rework some parts of the picture later. _________________ Mephiston. |

Looks like a photomanip. to me with a standard watercolour filter. The image looks messy and there is not much balance. The lil angels don't fit the image somehow.
Maybe you can provide us some more info about this image, the technique and your intention

Actually, it is photomanip, yes. There is no intention to cheat anyone and to say this is a painting. In the first image I posted here the week before I did show the photos and poser models used, but I was too lazy for this one.
Anyway, I'm just trying to make something that looks good, no matter if this is a drawing, a digital painting, a photo-manip or a photography, or a combination of all those medias, and no matter what is used to achieve this goal, watercolor filters or other enhancements. These are all tools to achieve one goal, and a non-expert eye, thus with no interest in technical questions won't bother what kind of tools is used.
So you have the answers to your questions. I'm just trying to make something visual, with absolutly no pretentions, contrary to what you seems to think. _________________ Mephiston. |
