Ok, where should I begin...
First of all I want to let you know that this forum has changed my life. I have learned almost everything I know about digital art just by lurking around. This is like an art community where people get inspired by each others.
I dont want to get a reputation for being an ass licker, but I just want to thank especially
HPX, Mon, Capt. Flushgarden, EvilToylet, the Machine god, Spooge Deamon, Gecko, Viag, Duracell, Wassup, Zhuzhu, Drunken Monkey, Bengal,
and many others that I forgot for inspiring me with your speedpaintings and stuff. I cant tell you how much I have respect for you guys by sharing your art for everyone.
Quickie, about 20 min.
Also speedpainting, about 40 min.
Quickie, 15 min.
This is my father and...
...this is my grandpa, both done with refs.
About an hour.

This is a view from my window, really quick about 15.min
All done with PS 7 and Painter 7. I got Wacom intuos 9x6 tablet, but couple of paintings is done with mouse (yellow lady & "burning hell").
As all you noticed, these works are mostly speedpaintings. I promise you that this is the last time I start new topic witch includes speedpaintings. Please dont get mad.
Im sorry if my English isnt that good at the moment but Ill get better by every post.
C&C are welcome. |

Hey Thanks!
Glad you joined the party ;] We need more artists and less talkers around here. Really like your chapel and the nude female pic. Those two are the best imho. Such nice textures... great atmosphere in the chapel pic.
I don't know enough to be throwing too much critique around but since you asked - i would avoid using filters unless you can do it without leaving a trace of them. Stuff ends up looking fake and plastic. _________________ "A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity" - Sigmund Freud |

Hello and tervetuloa.
Nice to have neighbours around here. I like your work too and especially the chapel piece. The mood is just right in it. Keep posting... ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

cg: thanx.
Drunkie: Thank you for your advice. In fact there is only one peace where Ive used filter, and thats the one that I painted for my father. Original version is colored, but I changed it to B&W with filter.
The one with old man walking in the tunnel might seem like Ive used a filter but I only applied paper structure on canvas. But youre right. They still look a little bit plastic. I just need more practise.
Noxi: Kiitoksia. In fact I live here up north, in Rovaniemi. I visited your website and really liked your quite unique style. |

Are you graf-writer too? Daim really has been a great influence to me but I like old-school style too. |
