I come often here to look at all the works around but I've never post before...
Here is the good occasion :

I've just finished my second Spawn comics episode .
It's now available in the french version first (Semic editions - french Spawn issue 72) and ToddMacFarlane Productions will certainly released it in the US version in some months.

In my opinion, it looks better than the first part (I�ve changed some details in my creative process and I handle better the characters (Spawn and the others))
Still very hard to produce pages so fast, from layouts to colors but very good for increasing your drawing skills faster...

This French issue is very special (especially for me!) and presents a 5 pages sketchbook and a Spawn illustrations gallery (16 pages).
For the occasion, I had the opportunity, according to my publisher (Semic) and Todd MacFarlane to invite some guests which I really admire the works.
Some stunning artists (you maybe know well her on this board):

-Lono
-Living Rope

and a bunch of others very talented french comics artists...

saw this on poo, aleksi. i dig all the art done for spawn comics, and it's great to know that one of the artists posts on the net. Smile

How is Lono hijacking a thread, when Aleksi said that Lono was one of the people who actually got published as part of his deal. All he was doing was showing work that appears in the same manuscript...perhaps read all the original post first? ;P

Awesome work, both of you. And I like the voodoo interpretation of Spawn. Pretty sweet.

i like the chain... but I always like the chain Wink

i always wondered what spawn's cloak is made of... i thought it was something thin... but here it looks like red leather...
