I think it looks great, like the idea.
Although her right cheekbone needs to be bigger... Don't know the proper word in english... Hope you understand... Wink

Her face kinda looks concave instead of convex... Confused

Like it.. Smile

everything is great-- besides the comments above the only thing that comes to mind is that her hand can well over cover her face -- so the hand/palm should be a tad smaller.

Awesome concept though...

very cool pic, i like your style. interesting. Only crit is i would add something in the background. Like a blured shape of a castle wall, or few trees . Something that would sugested where she is, i thik that would add to the story.

I would crit that the shadow the dagger is throwing on the face looks rather unnatural. The whole lighting situation in the picture is rather diffuse with very blurry almost not existent shadows. Therefore a fragile form as this dagger couldn't throw such a straight line as shadow. The only real shadow would occur on the top of the dagger where it hits the forehead.

With a more direct lighting the dagger's shadow would create a line like this, but the line you drew doesn't follow the anatomy of the face as it would in reality. Example: On the chin, the shadow makes a curve to the right, where it prolly rather would make a curve to the left following the line of the silouetthe (hope thats the correct spelling).

The proportions as well as the detail are very nice. Because of the lighting/shadow situation it lacks in depth. And the composition should draw more attention to the dagger and the face.
