I made a new illustration last night, and wanted to get some feed back on it. its a work in progress. all my illlustrations are done with a mouse. curious to know wether or not it's worth getting a wacom tablet..... anyways...
girl on couch...
same girl, same couch, duotoned, and blurred.......
have I improved at all? everytime I do some thing like this.. it ends up looking so cartoony. what else can I do to improve? how can I improve the hair especialy... |

This was done with a mouse?
I am definitely impressed, the hair would probably look better if it had some soft individual hair strokes. Saying that I quite like how it looks already.
But overall, this is great. I do reccommend you get a tablet, you'll find the pace at which you work will increase a lot. The quality will probably change also.
Again, excellent work. _________________ I only love you when I'm down, I'm only near you when I'm away. |

Oh nice... The features on the coloured image ( the eyes, nose and mouth ) are awesome! I really like the crisp way you handled them, and this is lost in the blurred version. I much prefer the coloured one. I agree that the hair needs work, as right now it looks too plasticy... Also, I think her stomach area is a bit too flat ( it's like a straight line ).
I would recommend investing in a wacom tablet. So far I've never met a person who regretted getting one ( including myself ). |

This is great! The sleekness to it is beautiful!

I think you would find it much easier with a WACOM tablet to draw. I do, but i'm still kack

Yeah. Definately keep the colored one. Adding detail to the hair will definitely help, and it needs a background too. |

Very nice soft airbrush style. I really like how it looks somewhat like a 3D distortion filter. Great job with this. _________________ http://prettydiff.com/ |
