Hi there,
This was mostly a painting experiment in photoshop but I ended up finishing it. It is a Daemon from the warhammer 40k universe.
Feedback appreciated.
Thanks for viewing!!
Ian

Nice, although the colors look a bit washed out. You should adjust the colors so that the black on the armor is 100% pure black. Think that would look better. Other then that it would be nicer with a more dynamic pose for him, but thats just me being picky ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

the way the green background touches his left hand is weird to me. shrink the green background a bit (or widen it) so the hand and the background dont tangent like this.
also, why post a bitmap? have you heard of jpeg compression? |

On my home computer the blacks were black but on my work computer things were washed out. I guess I just learned a lesson about monitor calibration
Sorry if the bitmap was too large for anyone to download. It was only 1 meg though and I have downloaded much larger files than that from here At work I pretty much only use bmp's and targas so it was more out of habit.

Even though you work with BMP at home you really shouldn't post them here. Convert it to a JPEG first as eyalyab said. Think about the poor modem people. And even I on a T1 connection don't like to wait for a huge BMP to load(sounding impatient now.. ). |

Jeez, bitmap police! I have learned my lesson. I was hoping to get more feedback other than my file extension.
Sorry guys I will post jpg's from now on.

nice!
I like how you have a black border around it, but the character kind of comes off of the page, great effect. Remember seeing it with another piece on Deviantart. But that's another story...
The only crit I would have is, it's a BMP
Nah, can't really find out wrong with the image itself, great work
The gold outlining all over the character is fab, really nice. |
