hmmm nice drawings, they look a little out of proportion at parts but it's fine, i guess, since they're concept drawings

the painting, it could be better, things are rather hard to make out, there should be more contrast, and i think it could look really good if you tried to make it look realistic or dramatic and change the angle light is coming from(i cant see a specific one right now anyway)

I don't think the problem is just with needing more contrast. Right now there are probably too many contrasts. With every little form being modeled all the way to black there is nothing for the eye to really focus on, looks like a bunch of detail. Other than that I think its a nice drawing and you can easily make iit more readable.
