Trying to keep my web site alive;
some new sketches. The enthusiasm here at Sijun for drawing inspires me. So many different styles, and all with a couple of programs!

Nice work. You showed your different styles in each drawing. Really nice. Great colors. _________________ >> http://www.joshjenkins.com |

Every one of these is incredible. You've mastered such a variety of styles, they all look amazing. If I had to critique, I'd say the second one needs a little tweaking. The helmet looks a little weak, compared to the amazing detail of the face. It looks a little flat, and also the background is very intrusive and distracting. Still, all of these are great. |

yeh, I added the helmet details almost as an afterthought, maybe I should've left them out, but it was an exploratory sketch. The same with the background. One lives and learns!

Right! I did some covers for them, they're in one of my illo galleries! This sketch was one option they rejected.

One thing I love about digital is how much easier it is to experiment with different approaches to painting or line and tint. It's all just a pixel away - if you think the right thoughts. That's why this place is so useful, to see the different ways minds are working!
Thanks for all the feedback.
