How much of that is painted? Just the buildings in the distance I assume?
If so, the foreground looks a little too separated from the background. You need to have something inbetween the fore- and back-ground to join them together. _________________ Art Links Archive -- Artists and Tutorials |

Well, im not a professionell, but i think you have to establish the foreground-lightsituation in the background in a recognizable way.
This time it looks in a way flat, like a cloudy day.
First of all the sky. If you study sky in nature you wills ee, the sky is much brighter(white) on the sun-side, while its most blue in the opposite(if you compare the values near the horizon on a normal sunny day)
Also most skyscrapers throw no shadow but are sourrounded by dark dust. I think it look more realistic if you cut dark parts to the left of buildings(especially the right-center) and put there a bit lit dust instead of it.
Well and i think while the area is full of dust you should reduce the contrast, especially in the right part. And the buildings to the left should be more dark inthe shadowparts, because they stand more between the viewe and the bright sun.
Hope i could help. _________________ Lars Gtze
