Please check out my drawing... it's my first attempt at 3D art but I think it came out very well. I couldn't quite get the right skin colour on the girl; does anyone have any suggestions? I used Photoshop. Please send me your feedback!

That was sarcastic if you didn't notice.
If that was a serious post, no offense dude, but it kinda sucks. |

Yeah, nice pic, I just don't believe you used PS. PS doesn't have that neat spray can. I hope it'll be added in the next update.

O MY GOD!!!!!
And I thought Craig Mullins was good.
How the hell did you get all that detail in there, dude? Did you size down from like 10000x8000 resulotion?
You're truly awesome. |

i like the pic
aside from that...
i'd like to bring up some resolution stuff
about Craig Mullins work. he has 'somewhat' of a tutorial on his site...some info on how he does it etc.
I draw with the mouse...so that's why i'm so interested! I'd like to know how to properly
seperate a picture, and blow it up to immense proportions 'detail it' then shrink it down to fit it together with the picture.
in the end have something badass, sit back in my chair and smile.
so, how do i go about doin it?
somebody help
if you do
then

Anthony:
-Select the area that you want to detail with the rectangular select tool. Leave the selection on there. (IMPORTANT)
-Copy the selection (Edit>Copy or Ctrl-C)
-Make a new image and keep the width and height that are going to pop up.
-Paste your selection into the new image. Flatten the image.
-Go to Image>Size and put in the size that you want to resize at (Remember the initial size - Write it down or something.)
-Detail whatever you wanna detail;
-When youre done, size down to your initial size.
-Select the image and copy it. (Ctrl-C)
-Close the image, saving it is up to you.
-Go to your original full drawing, the one that the selection is still active on, and hit Ctrl-V(paste)
-The detailed image will fit perfectly over the initial selection
-Flatten your image, and here you go, dood.
I hope this helped you. |
