It's been awhile since I've posted any work... been totally absorbed with getting moobad off the ground.

This is one of a series done for a children's picture book that never got published. The entire series can be seen here or by clicking on the picture below.

Thanks Max...

The story's about a fae who gets caught in a mysterious tornado like swirl deep in the forest. She looses all her clothing and her wings are totally destroyed... So as she meets different animals. she manages to get them to give her various things from their covered bodies until she is fully clothed and has her wings back... the end Smile

Your work astonishes me as always. But this time you're pushing your own limits. I must say that since your icicle-cat series you've found your very own style.
Just... the blurry depth of field effect on the backgrounds does not fit the overall illustration style of the pieces.

Matthew... No problem with the post... Yeah, I do spend a bit of time in front of the computer... I have three large projects going right now and a few small jobs -- all of them quite different from each other. Gets a bit confusing at times, but keeps the old gray matter zinging!

Thanks again Max... I may try to rewrite it one day and try again. My problem is... I'm not really a writer :/

Elliot... Thanks... I'm just starting a new series of picture book illos for an author in Calif. -- These were actually done several years ago for one of my own attempts at picture book writing/illustrating. I had almost forgot about them, but ran across them over the weekend and decided to put them up on eyewoo.com
