That's pretty basic lighting that any artist should be able to do. Find a book or search on the web for "chiaroscuro" (hope I spelled that right) and you should find the answers you need. |

@mOO: Yes i missed that thread. Thx for the link !
But what im looking for is not how he did the generel lightning, blue color stuff. More the lightstuff on the left side . The lamp. The lightning by the lamp looks like it really cold outside. And this is what i want to know how to do that.
But i guess its like always. Try try and again try  |

this is a cool picture but it looks like your lighting in a few places are wrong..
i painted over, swap back and forth with an image viewer (acdsee or something) to see what i changed
still very cool scene  |
