Just tried to make all the colours fit each other...instead of drawing and painting all the muscles and details of the picture.
In fact it is just a two hours sketch, but I think it doesn't fit in the "quick thread" because of the time it took...

Heya.

I liked this and did a quick 10min paintover to point out some stuff (hope you don't mind).


- the foremost conquistador's arm seems to be very long, I shortened it a bit and moved it down slightly. That said, it looks less precarious now, which was better in yours.

- brought the left leg forward a bit.

- increased the contrast slightly and added some more mist and reflections.

- added more vegetation to the swamp

- reflections on the shield and armour. Even though there is reflection of ambient colours on the armour, I figured it might be good to have some of his own clothes etc. reflecting on the surface of the metal.
