hey everyone, i just remade this logo for a company in tbay called sign design (im applying there) just to show em what i can do!
their original logo was just a bunch o clipart (consisting of a flat black and white toucan and a hat with some crappy string around his beak), so i figured why not make it pretty? 
everything but the text is drawn by hand in PS7, and several filters were used... the whole thing took about 3 hours:

i liked how it turned out, and i think its pretty effective

as a design major, the angle of the logo is not workig. the two curves of text dont really work either.
the tucan is very well done. i'd suggest losing the background, making it horizontal, and tighting it up design wise. |
