Hey

Thought I have posted too much in the speedy thread so I made a new one instead. The first one is a painting 1,5 hours and the second is some line-art I made today, it was so long ago since I made some line-art so I had to make one today.

You are really getting better and better. Especially the guys at the left and right have very realistic poses I think.
If you keep on improving at that rate you gonna be a star! Wink

Hi again Matthew!

Sorry for bumping this thread back up but I think your drawings are very inspiring and I forgot to post this repaint I did when you first posted this (actually there's been MANY pics I haven't had time to post in the last few months).. it took some time to find this thread again, luckily I recognized the word reaper in the title Smile

Here's the pic, just some ideas on composition and lighting, also played around with the personalities a bit:

i love when people do their own interpretation of someone elses work. its always amazing.

anyways, ive been gone awhile, good to see youve progressed. the clean linework really makes a difference. the rendering of the pants is especially nice. you still need work more on faces and necks though.

edit: and its an old painting! go figure!!

hehe yeah I checked in here to watch the speed thread and then I saw this thread and thought

Bg - That is a beautiful over-paint and I am glad that you posted it, thank you, I am glad you are inspired by my stuff. :D
Also thank you regarding my improvement cause sometimes I feel that I am not improving, thank you. :)

err.... its much more than overpaint. I hope matthew will give some thoughts to your pic BG witch is very cool. The composition works and as you said characters got their own personalities now.
