i quite like it although i think it needs a bit of work still. the moon goes to black yet the background colour is blue, so maybe some blending there and a smoother curve in the moon shape perhaps.
also the loght source.... its very light at the bottom so its kind of difficult to decide what the light source is when you see the night sky and such... maybe if you used a more monochromatic colour scheme for the entire picture to show the mood?
oh and lastly i think more "shimmer" on the water and a smoother blend from water to sand would look nice.
hope that didn;t sound too harsh, i like the picture still =D _________________

is there a specific reason you made the image so long? because unless your doing it for a project that requires that ratio, i think it is wwwwaaaayyy too long. you could get the same image across in a canvass about 60% that long. it seems just tooo streched out, and there is way too much of a gap between each or the focuses. the gaps pull the picture apart and makes it look like three seperate images stuck together. squeeze them together and make the transitions smoother and it will look awesome. my two other suggestions are to put the sun directly in the center of the pic, and maybe put a reflection of the moon and stars in the water, to give it more symetry.
hope that helps! _________________ check out my webpage @ http://www.evanart.com/ |
