It's been AGES since I started a thread here to post art, but, here is one for the record.

I'll consider this finished, though I'm sure I'll regret not putting more time on it tomorrow when I wake up. I hope you guys like it! (made for fun... nothing special). Comments/ideas welcome.

Cheers to all the old sijun friends!

hehe I like the 'frost lite' touch.

Anyway, I like the lighting and the rich skin tones Smile you should post more often.

Nice jazzy mood i think. Smile
The background is nicen smoky. Neon-light text on the wall is lovely. Could there be more all sorts of shiny things on the background. Like vending machines or whatever they were. Gambling stuff...

Jo, very nice atmosphere and great light. The dude on the left reminds me of a guy I did once. Especially because of the hair.
I like the refraction in the beer as well.

The drunken Monkey is just great! Very Happy

Its nice to see some artwork which is ... well "storytelling". You got pulled into this picture and can feel the whole atmosphere as the third person , and i just had to lough first time i say it, i was just laughing. - its hard to just look at this picutre without getting emotionally. Really great work, you touch the viewer with it! Smile

Hahaha, awesome. One of the funniest pieces I've seen here, and of course, technically astounding as usual. I actually think this is the best I've seen from you. Keep it up, we need more of these.

Thank you all very much! Glad it is well accepted! =]

JasonN: Thank you. I'll try to post more often... I need the practice.

Matthew: Thanks! =]

Noxi: Yes, the background, as in most of my images, are mostly second nature/second thought - But you're right! I should have spent more time on it, but felt it wasn't important enough, other than adding a bit of ambiance/contrasts to complement the subject/foreground. Thanks!

Antx: Thank you -- I try. =]

Hoodz: Danke!

Duracel: Aww - thank you! Great to get feedback like that. Thanks!

Tinusch: Wow! You're still alive! Long time no see! Hmm, if this is my best, then I had better get working much harder! =) Glad to see you around! Thanks!

Francis: Thanks Francis. =) Just having fun. =)

Minefield: Yes, me too! Thanks!

Ceenda: Danke mein friendt. =] I need to do do a lot more...

Wassup: Thanks. I make green tables look nice. =]

William: Hehe =]

That's f*cking awesome.
*saves as background*

I love everything about it.
My absolutely favorite part is the dude on the right, his fingers that are close to the not visible light coming from the roof. It's SO real!

Make more of this kind of stuff, please. ^____^

Noxi!
I dont agree with you about the background.
The economy according to details in what is behind (and the smoky look) is what makes the pick of focus in this picture. Still it is so perfect in giving us the information needed of the environment.
