Hi
I am pretty new at drawing and I have serious difficulties with drawing humans (or creatures) from imagination. I never seem to get the perspective right when drawing living things. Drawing primitive shapes in the right perspective is fairly easy to me. If I try to draw a stick figure with correct perspective I always waste it. Is there a special *trick* to drawing figures with correct perspective or is it just copying what I see in my mind? |

Don't draw from imagination if you are new at drawing!!!

Anyhing can be drawn in a box btw!
Link 4
Show some of your stuff!
Let others judge if you can actually get the perspective right.
Again:
Copying what you see in your mind can't possibly work if you are new at drawing IMO! _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

That's actually pretty neat!
You can try to play with the scanner settings a little.
The images look overexposed (berbelichtet *) i think.
Maybe there's something to fix that in the settings ...
The perspective looks great.
You should just try to get the lines more straight.

Ich kann deutsch da ich in Deutschland geboren wurde - bin aber Jugoslawe..
berbelichtet? Ich hab mit dem *levels* - Teil in Photoshop rumgefummelt damit das Teil etwas sauber aussieht..
I will keep the stuff in english so others can follow the subject.
thx for the flowers! All this (except the little flower) is drawn from life. I want the things that I draw from my mind to look correct (perspective).
*edit*
Gibts das *Loomis Succesful Drawing* auch als ganze pdf? (also nicht einzelne Seiten)? |

Yeah the links should help. Understand how perspective works ... more than just school stuff.
Drawing from reference and especially from life will help you with drawing from your mind eventually!
That's important to know!
You have to build some kind of library to draw from. _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

kittycat, pay as much attention to foreshortening as perspective (sometimes they get mixed up, but they are related though). |
