this is my first REAL try at an all digital natural setting,
i am finally starting to understand how to detail a lil better, but HOW DO I GET MORE DETAIL!? jesus, i'm at 1pixel brush trying to make strokes look like rock,
i know my sky needs a lot of work, and i'm not using that ground backdrop either,
this is definitely STILL IN PROGRESS, but i need some help fast!

Its flat. There is no good illusions of depth. You can create prety good perspective illusion with textures and that crack in the ground going away. Sky should also follow the same idea... cloulds closer look bigger further away they get smaller.
It needs more color too.
If i were you i would completely forget about detail for a long long time.
