This guy is an excellent artist. Happens to be one of the modellers/level designers/textures artists for Epic Megagames's Unreal and Unreal Tournament.

The Art of Shane Caudle Page

Also, check out this rather large image which he just put up recently.

Queen Amidala, unfinished mind you. Done in Painter I beleive, Shane's tool of choice.

If you thought Dhabih was good, get ready for a new hero.

Though I have yet to use Painter myself with the exception of a breaf stint while helping someone else with a project they were working on, the program's ability to be able to create image which look increadably like real painted/drawn medias or near photo realism is simply uncanny.
A good example is the for posted www.goodbrush.com in which Craig Milluns shows of both traditional and digital paintings, and hell if I can tell the difference.

Another thing about Shane, he's fast. In his paintings gallery there's an image he did for a game mag... he did that one overnight as a "quicky."

Woohoo! Another Painter user! He's pretty good, too, although he has a nauseating '80s look to most of his stuff. :P Possibly from the obvious Boris Vallejo influence...he even has at least one pic in his gallery directly ripped from Boris:

Eh.

Yes I do indeed know another artist.
I really like his style, his name is
Mike, or "Gabriel". You can see one of his art at www.gameart.com its on the spotlight of the week or something. I really like the way he draws and shades. He doesnt use dodge & burn and he doesnt smudge his lines, he keeps, em which gives it a sharp look..very nice.
