hi, i know this is a question that's been asked a million times but,
i wanted to know which technique is better when rigging and animating my model... i don't really care about which one i'm using when modeling since Maya is able to convert all three ways, and i'm good at all three of them.
about a year ago all i was using was polies... but now i've been modeling all my characters with nurbs and love it. it's much easier and clean IMO...but what i'm wondering is if i would face problems when rigging, creating blendshapes, or animating a nurbs character... what do you guys think?
(it would be nice to also hear opinions from people who have tried all techniques and rigged and animated a nurbs character. also it's important to understand that i'm not talking about the modeling aspect, but the rigging and animating.) |

This is mostly just a painter's board, and not really a 3D board. You might find better answers at CGTalk.com for modeling. _________________ http://prettydiff.com/ |
