hello there,
i havnt been able to visit or post here much lately, not to mention draw.
busy lately with school. taking lots of courses this semester..
plus, my sister "kidnapped" my tablet, and my computer being too damn slow lately has degraded(?) me to the level of ansi :/
i never did ansi before. im not one of them oldschoolers. but what the hell, eh?

oh my god.. someone still remembers what ANSI is ???????????? Plus an ANSI editor under windows ?!?? *faints* This PabloDraw thing seems to be lacking a lot of characters tho. good luck on drawing, I find ansi a fun thing to do. 'have to admit I haven't touched it since a decade (ouch).. right when RIP graphics came around.
ege, on a nostalgia trip |

egerie: yes, its windows based. plus it has multi-user capabilities, meaning you can start a server and people can connect to you and draw on the same canvas simultaneously. fun right?
it doesnt lack characters, you can get new ones using keyboard shortcuts, for example left ctrl + F# changes the types of characters, and alt+arrows change the foreground and background colors.
btw, there are current "new age" active ansi groups that release packs.
ill give you a url if you want, but ill have to search my irc logs for it.
if people here are interested we can set a date and time and we can all draw together on a pablodraw shared canvas, all of us together at a same time.
ill upload the pablodraw util to my ftp.
here: http://t2.technion.ac.il/~seyy/PabloDraw.zip
anyone who's interested in drawing together reply to this thread.
btw, i gave that ansi i did to a friend and he continued it, he's an oldtimer in ansi, so i watched him draw it. it was fun and i learned while watching. |

just in case anyone wanted to see how the ansi turned out.
i gave this to my friend in its early stages and he practically did this all, not me.
