Does anyone know what's up with the 3D Palette website? Not sure if anyone here uses it, but it's been out of commission for a while now...too bad, it was pretty good. Not as good as this one. Of course.

Hmm, I'm gonna assume sarcasm, since I didn't see a happy face with a knowing look. I take it you're not a fan of 3DPalette. I'm interested in hearing about any other sites you know of that have some nice Photoshop/Painter-type stuff...you know, art that doesn't look like a really bad Yes album cover or Frazetta ripoff...

I think Faust is pissed off with 3DP for a reason that I still don't understand. I think he was hosted there awhile back, and something happened that made him leave. Ah well, it was b4 i was there, so I don't really care.

As for 3DP this is the situation: We went down on the eve of the post apocalyptic contest gallery going online. We did however manage to upload them to GFX Artist: http://www.gfxartist.com/3dpcontest/index.html

We went down because Jonathon Works aka Asshole No. 1, who ran Frag (our hosts) was fired from his job at an isp. This isp was hosting Frag (thus us too.)

Right now, we have to have our programmer rebuild most of the site because before we were tied into Frag. I don't really know, its a frustrating situation, and when we go back up, its in all likelihood not going to be under 3dpalette (as Asshole No.1 registered the domain.)

We have a temporary site right now at http://www.gamedev.net/hosted/3dpalette/ but its just the message board.
