Here's a bit of everything... The first to are copyright Fantasy Flight Games, Inc. I did them for one of their rpg's.
Now here's something you've never seen from me before - lineart!! Well, it's more like 'lineart for dummies', but given it's my first try - AND I used Photoshop for them (now that was scary) - I do feel a bit of pride
Finally a color piece. An old and dying animal.
Cheers,

Nice work, wish I could do that with black and white. I may be being weird but I think the guy on our side of the bar in the first image looks like David Bowie. _________________ I wracked my brain and this was all I could come up with. |

haha the first picture with the guy on the right looks like Duracel...hehe. :) I think you have watched too many of duracels self-ports...hehe
Great work, I would say the 2nd picture, its a master-piece.
btw I listened to Firesides latest and saw also "all you had" on Ztv, great album, great song " all you had" :)

sometypeof: Thank you. Yeah, the first two and the last one is all Painter7 (still haven't had the stamina to deal with v.
linzi: Thank you! Well, I didn't use ref, so I guess it could be anybody really It's supposed to be an elf, but if that's difficult to make out then I don't blame you
Capt. Fred:
Matthew: Who can resist a handsome guy like duracel?? Yepp, Fireside is still one of the best Swedish bands around
Anthony: Thanks!

Incredible. That last one is of a rare quality displayed by maybe 0.2% of artists here... very well done. _________________ "A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity" - Sigmund Freud |

WOW. Really love your work. I've never seen b&w's that look so "real". How did you get THAT good at painting values? Did you make special exercises?
Also I would like to know wich brush you use in Painter. The brush-structure looks great.

crazybread: thank you =)
Thomas Veil: thanks! I don't know if it's all that 'real', but I've been painting for three years under the guidance of some very good teachers. No special exercises, sorry =) just a lot of training. The first two pieces were made mainly with Variable Flat and Loaded Palette Knife. There's a bit of airbrushing going on in both of them, but I try to stay away from that as much as possible (that tool doesn't quite do it for me)
Max Kulich: Cheers mate!

The sense of form in your work is fantastic. (bah, I wish Sijun had the  emoticon :p )
The last one almost has that Chinese thing of 'empty space' about it where there's no detail in the shadow, but the effect is amazing. |
