Hey, I was wondering whether there were settings i can change for bezier vectors appearance? Because i was working in Illustrator 9 today and the editing seemed awkward comparing to my usual Photoshop vector experience
The handles were too small to grab and i don't think the color was inverse to its background (like in PS). |

use freehand instead - much easier - faster and more like ur Photoshop vector use ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Seriously? I thought Illustrator was the best for vectors.. i never did check out Freehand though.
I wount have any trouble with file compatibility, am i? Because even Illustrator, when you go to save a file, gives you all kinds of compatibility options from version 4 to 9 .. |

There's nothing wrong with Illustrator. Freehand is powerful too though, it has some definite advantages in some areas, but.... one major bummer is that the onscreen display is aliased, which I find really hard to work with. Whereas Illustrator is smooth and anti-aliased and much nicer to judge the final look of it. |

freehand can read illustrator files and alot more besides.. can also export to photoshop etc..
having used Freehand from V2 and used illlustrator since v1.1 (i didn't like illustrator then, and don't now..) freehand has the edge over illustrator because the interface is just more friendly oh and it loads at least 5 times faster ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Illustrator ROXORS SEXI awesome mega.
Macromeida suxors. Macromedia interfaces are riduclous!
My opinion is ridiculous not based on logic or reason just on my inuitive prefenece.
Don't listen to my irrational dislkie of macromedia interfaces and love of adobe's and thier illustrator. Listen to Bobs more reasoned take on things, is prob the best thing to do. Personally I dislike photshop vectors and thing illustrators are SEXI. I find illustrator to way good better than everyting.
