ok i worked on this few hours today (2 maybe 3) got some problems. I have a question, do you see here any potetntial or should i drop it ?

I like the view from above and the knight .. but I think there's something wrong with the perspective.
Oh and the colors are ok too IMO.

And I think the angel looks strange (it is an angel ... right?). I think it's the pose.
I can't figure out how the legs are connected with the body for example.

I think its very cool, the above view is interesting. Need to work on the point of attention, at first glance the figures dont draw my attention as they should I dont think. Not sure how to accomplish that

All in all I think its a GREAT concept!! I wanna see it finished!!!

.. I wanted to comment your paint style before.. it looks always too dirty, blurry.. too dark shadows.. maybe try to dare make more loose strookes

you have good idea in that pic which you posted here..

try make the enviroment more visible so it would be exciting.. more lightning so we could see the enviroment of church

it would be nice with soft lightning and shadows for whole pic.. (look at some rembrandt works) I want to see more red colour

make the angel and the knight longer in their bodies. if you dont making comic

even less light for the colon especially at right side..

i agree with your comments. I can now see all the mistakes and to tell you the truth i don't think i should improve this pic but rather start from the begining. I had alot of problems with angel .... wasted most of my time on making it look less screwed :/

Tomasis i don't find your critic harsch, and don't make apologies for your opinions but i want to tell you that bassicaly this is just another speedpic. i approach a sppedpainting and and normal painting the same way, i just work longer on the finished pices. On this particular pic I spent more time cause i was fixing errors. Sometimes you make a good pic and sometimes you fail this is art...
