What is the best JC Leyendecker sight on the web?
What is the "big book" about him called? The big book, referring to not the American Illustrator's Poster Book |

The poster book has by far the best repros I have seen. You can really see how it is done, even the pencil grid. The big (meaning complete) book is by a guy named Michael Schau. I don't much look at it since I have the poster book. It is called simply JC Leyendecker, published Watson Guptil 1974. It is also quite valuble, I think 4 figures.
I have never found anyting on the web worthwhile, and I have looked, but try again and tell me if you find anything. |
